Maanila Sri Swamiji stirs people`s conscience

Vishesha Rudrabishekha & Balivaadu Koota on 05.12.2021 - Maanila Swamiji visits temple

Sunday, 5th December 2021 was a day of sunshine at Ubrangala.

Vishesha Rudrabishekha & Balivaadu Koota was organised by the temple Jeernodara committee, after the long CORONA lull. The villagers came in large numbers to see and hear Sri. Sri. Mohandas Paramahansa Swamiji of Sri. Maanila Kshetra. He extolled the gathering to do righteous deeds, shun all evil habits like alcoholism, drug use, etc. He stressed the role of mothers in shaping the children`s future in studies and also spiritual growth. Education is for earning livelihood whereas the cultural ethos &  values instilled in one’s childhood shapes his future life. Only good deeds you do the society, donations, and help you render for societal needs help your name last for long even after you have gone. Holding on to material things more than what is required for one`s needs will not help your kith & kin as exemplified in many a case esp during the recent and ongoing COVID pandemic.

People come to this earth empty-handed and leave from this world also bare-handed. Hence, it is a good idea to spend the earnings on good deeds. Temple renovations are one such deed where the benefits reach out to many people to get spiritual upliftment. If village people make it a habit to visit Temple daily periodically, the culture in the whole village will get a boost and the crimes and other bad events occurring in that village will drastically come down. A bhajan song was recited by the Swamiji, to the chorus of all devotees following him.
