The discussion was mainly focussed on issues of Copper sheet covering of Garbhagruha roof and the ongoing works at Dhoomavthi Daivasthanam site. The top roof and 3 and half sides of lower roof has already been covered with copper. The Treasurer informed the gathering that there was temporary hold-up of work since a week because of material shortage and the contractor has promised to finish the work within a fortnight. The fund raising done through sale of coupons has completed only around 40% of target and it was decided to request those who had taken books to complete the sale and return all books when they come for the August 12th meeting. Prof. Shridhar Sullia submitted Rs 25,000 that has been collected by the coupon book  sale given to him. Mr. Anand Movvar volunteered to chip in by taking 2 books (each containing 25 coupons of Rs 1,000 each), and this was greatly appreciated by the gathering.

Help was sought by the committee in certain issues from the Panchayat. A request was made to help in getting the walkway to Katnooji Moolasthaanam of Shri Shathara - used by the temple Archaka to visit  for daily pooja there - to be able to be used in all seasons. Secondly, the Ubrangala rivulet`s (flowing in front of the temple) sides needs to be strengthened to prevent landslides. Also, the rivulet-side public walkway to the  Dhoomavthi Daivasthanam site faces the same problem and at present there is a very narrow walkway is there because of landslides.

In his speech, the Panchayat Vice-President Mr. Ananda Movvar responded very positively to help out in each of our issues. He straight-away annonced a grant of Rs 1 lacs and promised to try for a lac more after discussions at Panchayat. He also expressed his willingness to help in getting funds from the District Panchayat, MLA Fund, MP Fund etc.

Discussion also focussed on the agreed collection of atleast Rs. 5,000 from each Hindu homes at the beginning of Jeernodhara Committee formation 2 years ago. Many opined that many areas of the village are not covered still. Team leaders were requested to update the matter.

The meeting also witnessed handing over a cheque of Rs 75,000 for purchase of required land for widening the `Astangana` at a concessional price from brothers Mr. Ramakrisha Bhat & Subraya Bhat. Mr. Subraya Bhat accepted the cheque. Mr. Kiran Kumar Kunikullaya thanked Mr. Bhat brothers.
